Brian Kopp's Leveling Guide Shows You a Really Cool Way to Get to Lvl 70 With Almost NO Effort at All..
On this page you will find an in-depth look at Brian Kopp's leveling guide. I use this guide myself when I want to level up an Alliance character in world of warcraft.
Read on and you will find out what I think about it and what this 120 page ebook contains.
First, lets take a look at how the starting page looks like when you open the guide. I've added a screenshot and I think Brian doesn't mind.
This is how the starting page of Brian Kopp's guide looks like and the theme is same throughout the guide.
The guide is saved in a pdf format, which means that you need to have adobe acrobat installed. Adobe acrobat is free and you will get download links in the guide. Now back to the starting page.
As you can see on the big picture above, Brian has both pictures and text that takes you through the different steps. If you look at the right were the text is, you see that it's pretty detailed.
The pictures in the guide show you were key areas are located, not where the different quests are located. I think that it would have been a good idea if Brian would add all the quest locations on these mini-maps. I would have liked that, but then.. It's just me.

Box = Town
If you study the big photo you will see that some text is surrounded by a box. (Look at the little photo to the right).
When text is surrounded by a box it means that it's in a town.
Also, the blue text links in the guide are the name of the different quest you will complete. If you click on a link you will be taken to thottbot.com for more information about that quest.
Thottbot is a big quest database if you didn't knew, and it has information on just about any quest in the game.
Different Starting Points
A good thing about this guide is that Brian has made starting guides for all the Alliance races. If you look at the picture you can see the first thing you will be doing if you play as a Nightelf.
Humans, Nightelfs, Gnomes, Dwarfs and the Draenei have their own starting guides.
Then when you reach 20 - 21 you will follow one guide to lvl 70 and you will be doing many quests in outland as you ding 60.
So, it doesn't matter which race or class you choose, it will work good for all races and classes. I have tested this with all the races and classes and I can follow the guide without any problems.
Also, the guide is updated regular. The newest version is for the 2.3 patch. Once the "wrath of the lich king" comes out, you will see that Brian will update his guide so it fits that expansion.

Good Info & Lots of Pictures
One thing that I like with this wow leveling guide is that it has lots of in-game photos. You understand much better when, for example you know how the mob you are going to kill looks like, or how a quest object looks like and where it's located.
Take a quick look at the photo I have provided so you'll understand better.
As you can see on the picture on the right, the in-game screenshots are quite helpful. You will know exactly what to look for if you haven't done one of these quests before.
What This Guide Doesn't Have!
Now I want to talk a little about what this alliance guide doesn't have..
It doesn't have any videos explaining difficult quests and obstacles. I miss this a lot and I consider this to be a minus. I mean if you compare this guide to Joana's leveling guide, which is a pretty darn good leveling guide by the way. It lacks that little extra that videos provide.
Joana explains how he battles different bosses and which strategy that works best. I learned truckloads of tricks from Joana's videos and I would really like to learn truckloads of tricks from Brian as well..
But I can't!
Brian hasn't made any! (Brian if you read this, then get your ass out of the wagon and make some videos! =) It will make your leveling guide even better! It's good now but it can be even better.
If you are new to all this, then you will learn tons by just watching these leveling pros work. (I guess you can call Brian and Joana for leveling pros... =))
If you want to check out some of Joana's videos, you can.. I have written a review of Joana's guide as well and I have added some of his great videos on that page. You will find a link to that page at the top.

Brian Kopp's Map Mod
This is a great thing this alliance leveling guide has. Brian has made a map mod of his guide. This means that you can follow his entire leveling guide in-game. Just follow the coordinates on your map and your mini map.
I can say that it will allow you to level much faster. You don't have to read!, just follow the red arrow on your character. If you take a look at the screenshot I uploaded you can see the red arrow.
I have also added a photo on how it will look on your map. Take a look below..
As you can see on the map, there are different colored dots. These dots are either a quest giver, a quest location or a vendor.
If you want you can set any of the dots on your map as a waypoint. All you have to do then is to follow the red arrow you have on your character. It allows me to find quest locations, quest givers and vendors very quickly and easy. If you get this guide then I really recommend you to use this mod.
Closing Thoughts
I really like this guide. It's one of the best alliance leveling guides you can get. The information is easy to read and easy to understand. Brian has lots of photos, both in-game and maps. It helps because your eyes can rest a bit from all the reading.
On the minus side is that Brian doesn't have any videos. I would have liked that.
I really like the in-game leveling mod. It's very convienient. I can find places, persons and quests very easy with it.
It's a wellmade guide. It's very close, but not as good as Joana's horde leveling guide, it might be.. if Brian creates a couple of videos. =).
I rate this guide a 4 out of 5, which is very good.
